On June 13, I welcomed The Kentucky Fried Woman into the Lair of Lady Monster.
KFW is a fat queer activist, performer, producer, dancer, choreographer, artist and all-around inspiring and gender-fuck amazing deep-fried temptress.
Some of her groups include: Butch Tap, Butch Ballet, and Trekking with the Stars (aka Dancing with the Star Trekkies).
She produces the monthly show, The Kentucky Fried Woman Show at Velvet in Oakland. This show occurs the first Friday of each month at 9:00pm. After September 2009 the show is moving to the first Saturday of each month.
Located at 3411 MacArthur Blvd. @ 35th Avenue in Oakland.
KFW has also had a hand in the production of several other events, including the Women's Pavilion at SF Pride 2009, Rally The Troupes, Femme Conference, Hogwarts Express: The Musical, and WHAM! A Tribute Show,
